Draped by a blanket of melted cheese, this creamy dip balances the decadence with a lighter base stirred together with good-for-you ingredients such as Greek yogurt and iron-rich spinach. Whether you’re dipping in with crackers or tearing into a piece of sourdough, this is the ultimate crowd-pleaser for your next party… or for a party of one!
Ingredients In This Creamy Yet Healthy Spinach Dip
- Olive oil
- Garlic
- Spinach
- Greek yogurt or hung curd
- Mayonnaise (you could swap in cream cheese instead)
- Cheese of choice (we recommend a mix of mozzarella and parmesan)
- Seasonings of choice (we recommend chilli flakes and oregano)

Steps For Making This Dip
- Start by sautéing fresh spinach with garlic until it’s lightly wilted.

- Meanwhile mix together the base with the Greek yogurt, mayo, cheese and seasonings.
- Stir the wilted spinach into the yogurt-cheese mix.

- Spoon the dip out into a small baking dish and pop it into a pre-heated oven for 8-10 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbling.
- Serve it hot with crackers / bread and DIVE IN!

Creamy Yet Healthy Spinach Dip
Ingredients
- 1-2 tbsp olive oil
- 2-3 garlic cloves (minced)
- 2-3 cups spinach
- ½ cup greek yogurt
- 3-4 tbsp mayonnaise
- ½ cup mozarella (or any melty cheese of choice)
- ½ cup parmesan
- seasonings of choice (paprika, chilli flakes, salt, black pepper)
Instructions
- Heat some olive oil in a pan and add in minced garlic. Stir until fragrant.
- Add in your spinach, stirring regularly until the spinach is lightly wilted.

- Meanwhile, in a bowl, mix together yogurt, mayo, your cheeses and seasonings of choice. Stir in the wilted spinach.

- Spoon this mixture into a baking dish. Add more mozarella/ your favourite melty cheese on top.
- Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180C until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is bubbling by the edges.

- Serve hot with crackers/ bread and DIVE IN!
