I never thought I’d ever find myself craving cauliflower but trust me – once you’ve tried this Lemon Herb Cauliflower Bowl, you’ll be making it on repeat too.
Spicy, zingy, herby, lemony , tangy and more – this power-packed bowl elevates the humble cauliflower with a medley of beautiful colours, flavours and textures. The cauliflower is roasted to a spicy charred perfection and served on a creamy bed of garlicky yogurt with a vibrant herb oil drenched on top to finish.
You can enjoy this cauliflower bowl as is, or pair it with pita for a very wholesome one-bowl meal.
Steps For Making This Lemon Herb Cauliflower
- Break the cauliflower into florets and toss with olive oil and seasonings.
- Roast the cauliflower pieces until crisp and golden on the outside, but butter-soft in the middle.



- Whisk together a quick garlicky yogurt with Greek yogurt, garlic, parsley, salt and pepper.
- Make the lemon-herb oil by gently heating olive oil with minced garlic and seasonings such as chilli flakes and paprika. Stir in fresh herbs (we’ve used parsley, coriander, and scallions) along with lemon juice, salt and pepper.
- To assemble, spread the yogurt as the base of your bowl, pile the roasted cauliflower on top and spoon over the lemon-herb oil
- Garnish with herbs, sesame seeds, and your favourite garnishes.

Spicy Garlicky Lemon-Herb Cauliflower Bowl
Ingredients
- 1 Cauliflower
For The Marinade
- ¼ cup Olive Oil
- 2-3 tsp Paprika
- 1-2 tsp Salt + Pepper (as per your preference)
For the Garlicky Yogurt
- ½ cup Greek Yogurt
- 2-3 Garlic Cloves
- ¼ cup Parsley (chopped)
- 1-2 tsp Salt + Pepper (as per your preference)
For the Garlic Lemon Herb Oil
- 3-4 tbsp Olive Oil
- 3-4 Garlic Cloves (minced)
- 1-2 tsp Chilli Flakes
- 2-3 tsp Paprika
- ¼ cup Parsley
- ¼ cup Coriander (destemmed)
- ¼ cup Scallions
- 1 Lemon (juiced)
- 1-2 tsp Salt + Pepper (as per your preference)
Instructions
- Start by thoroughly washing an entire head of cauliflower. Break it up into bite-sized pieces.
- For the marinade, whisk together some olive oil, paprika, salt and pepper as per your taste.

- Generously brush this mixture over the cauliflower and pop it in a pre-heated oven to roast at 180C for 20-30 minutes until softly-charred on the outside (but buttery-soft and creamy within!)

- For the garlic yogurt, mix together the yogurt, garlic, parsley, salt and pepper.

- For the lemon herb oil, heat the olive oil and stir in minced garlic, chili flakes, paprika and combine. Once fragrant, stir in handfuls of fresh parsley, coriander, lemon juice, scallions and salt and pepper to taste.
- Cook on low heat for a few minutes, then remove from the heat
- To assemble, spoon the creamy yogurt as the base of this dish. Add the roasted cauliflower to the centre of the bowl. Pour the lemon herb oil on top.

- Garnish with fresh herbs, sesame seeds etc and DIVE IN!
